1. About this policy

2. Information DairyTrack may collect

Depending on the features you use and the information you enter, DairyTrack may collect or store:

  • Account details: name, email address, user ID, authentication information, profile settings, and user permissions.
  • Business contacts: information about a business, its staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Customer and delivery records: customer names, addresses, phone numbers, locations, delivery instructions, and delivery records.
  • Animal and herd records: animal photos and feeding, milking, breeding, pregnancy, and general herd-management information. These records concern livestock; they are not human medical records.
  • Business financial records: billing, payment, expense, salary, arrears, and other financial information users enter.
  • Operational and diagnostic data: app-generated records about activity, errors, reliability, performance, app version, and device or operating-system details.
  • Analytics and advertising-measurement data: app-instance identifiers, the Android Advertising ID when available, approximate location derived from a masked IP address, and app lifecycle, screen, session, and interaction events.
  • Notification identifiers: device or application identifiers, including a Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token.
  • Subscription information: Google Play purchase and entitlement information described below.

3. Google Play subscriptions

When a business owner purchases DairyTrack Pro through Google Play, DairyTrack may receive:

  • Product and base-plan identifiers;
  • A purchase token;
  • Subscription status and renewal, cancellation, grace-period, and expiry information; and
  • Identifiers for the associated DairyTrack user and business.

We use this information to verify purchases, activate Pro features, prevent subscription fraud, and process subscription lifecycle changes.

DairyTrack does not receive or store payment-card or bank-account details. Google Play processes those details directly. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google Play billing information.

4. Push notifications

DairyTrack uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send operational alerts, including alerts about unusual delivery or milking activity. To route an alert to the right device, DairyTrack collects and stores a Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token associated with the signed-in account and business.

You can disable notification permission at any time in your device settings. Disabling notifications does not prevent you from using other app features, but you will no longer receive those device alerts. See Firebase privacy and security information.

5. Offline functionality

To provide offline access, DairyTrack may cache business records and pending changes locally on your device. Pending changes are synchronized with DairyTrack's servers when connectivity returns. Cached information may remain on the device until you sign out, clear the app's data, uninstall the app, or the application otherwise removes it.

6. How information is used

We use information as needed to:

  • Provide, maintain, and troubleshoot app functionality;
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts and permissions;
  • Synchronize business information across authorized users and devices;
  • Manage subscriptions and access to paid features;
  • Send operational notifications;
  • Provide customer support;
  • Protect security and prevent abuse and fraud;
  • Meet legal and regulatory obligations;
  • Understand feature usage and improve the app's reliability and performance; and
  • Measure and optimize advertising campaigns for DairyTrack.

7. Service providers

We use service providers to operate DairyTrack, including:

  • Google Play Billing for subscription purchases and entitlement management;
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications;
  • Google Analytics for Firebase and Google Ads for app analytics, advertising conversion measurement, and campaign optimization; and
  • Hosting, database, email-delivery, and infrastructure providers used to run and support DairyTrack.

Google Analytics for Firebase may process app-instance identifiers, the Android Advertising ID when available, approximate location derived from a masked IP address, app lifecycle, screen, session, and interaction events, and Google Play purchase or subscription events such as product identifiers, product names, and prices. When Firebase Analytics is linked to Google Ads, related events and measurement data may be made available to Google Ads to measure and optimize DairyTrack campaigns.

Our custom analytics events record that a user signed in and the sign-in method, created a customer record, created a delivery record, or completed subscription verification. We do not intentionally attach names, email addresses, customer or delivery details, DairyTrack user or business IDs, or other business-record contents to those custom events. DairyTrack does not set a Firebase user ID.

These providers process information only as needed to supply their services to us and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Learn more in Google Analytics for Firebase data-disclosure information, Firebase privacy and security information, and Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Data sharing

DairyTrack does not sell users' personal information.

We may disclose information:

  • To service providers that help operate DairyTrack;
  • To authorized members of the same business, according to account permissions, or otherwise when instructed by the user;
  • When reasonably necessary to protect DairyTrack, the service, its users, or others, including to investigate abuse or fraud;
  • As part of a legitimate merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections; or
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Information is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS where applicable, and access is limited based on operational need and account permissions. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Retention

We retain information while it is necessary to provide DairyTrack, maintain business records, meet accounting or legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and prevent fraud. Subscription records may be retained where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Retention depends on the type of information and why it is held; we do not state a fixed period where none has been established.

Analytics and advertising-measurement data is retained according to the retention settings configured for Google Analytics for Firebase and Google Ads. Because DairyTrack does not set a Firebase user ID, this data is not intentionally associated with a DairyTrack account identifier.

11. Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your DairyTrack account and associated data:

  • In the app: open the navigation drawer, tap Contact support, and request account deletion through WhatsApp.
  • On the web: visit our public Account Deletion page at https://dairytrackapp.com/delete-account. No sign-in is required to view the page or start an email request.
  • By email: contact hello@zamidev.com.

Deleting an account deletes or anonymizes associated personal data unless we must retain certain information for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal, or regulatory reasons. To delete selected records without closing the account, see Delete your data.

12. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a portable copy of, object to certain processing of, or request deletion of your personal information. You can update available account details in DairyTrack or contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may limit a request where the law permits or requires it.

  • Request account or data deletion using the methods above.
  • Disable push notifications through your device settings.
  • Contact hello@zamidev.com with privacy questions or requests.

13. Children's privacy

DairyTrack is a business and farm-management app and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through DairyTrack, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as DairyTrack or legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may notify users through the website, app, or another appropriate channel. Please review this page periodically.
